my1Mpact was created from a lifelong journey of choosing love and a desire to inspire what really matters; to see lives changed, healed and set free.

I have a burning desire to help those most in need in as many tangible ways as possible. As a problem solver and solution finder, I love to work with organizations that are smart with their resources and are impacting more lives with less. Having traveled extensively both at home and abroad, endeavoring to help people through humanitarian related work, I saw not only the positive impact of love but the overwhelming need to create smart partnerships. As a result, my1Mpact was born and is designed as a platform to “Highlight Hero’s”, motivate a culture of compassion and mobilize a global community of people partnering with causes they believe in. A platform to maximize 1Mpact. An “1Mpact hub”.

For as long as I can remember I have cared deeply for people. Humanitarian efforts have been an integral part of my life that has created further awareness of others, their needs, and suffering. A true awareness and understanding that ultimately behooves action.

The first time I gave away everything I had, I was five and donated my “life savings” piggy bank to starving children in Somalia. By the time I was 16, I spent my summer breaks in third-world countries, wandering the remotest parts of some very dark, impoverished places with the goal of offering medical aid, education, food, clothing or even just a hug at times to wonderful people living in some horrific circumstances. Being “boots on the ground” and immersed in these cultures, I experienced real-life crises for so many demographics of people. I very quickly developed a perspective, passion and vision to build effective, efficient and long-lasting results to better care for others.

Initially, this perspective grew into developing a model to create families by uniting widows with orphaned children and working within cultures and communities to create family units. Afterwards, matching those children/families with individuals interested in supporting them whilst always striving to maintain relevant cultural environments.

My drive has always been to love and protect people in whatever way was relevant and necessary. Thus, I have had a wide range of involvement with everything from the fight against human trafficking, gender-based violence, slave labor, organ harvesting and religious genocide, to empowering women, caring for orphaned children and protecting the most vulnerable in a vast array of ways such as disaster relief, freedom causes and education.

I have been so grateful to have worked with many dynamic individuals and organizations to structure sustainable models for long term problem solving who are affecting lifelong, multi-generational culture shaping, positive change for so many.

It has been a diverse and challenging journey but the amazing experience of giving hope, inspiring compassion and being a voice for the forgotten, while heartbreaking at times, has been so worth it! Especially when the results of love and the far-reaching effects are evident in countless ways. I am honored to work alongside some of the best people the world has to offer. People who are truly heroic and are choosing love in some of the darkest circumstances. Loving when it’s not easy, loving sacrificially and when no one is watching. It’s a gift to be able to spotlight what truly matters, drawing attention to the things that unite us. The causes that bring our hearts together, the choices that last for generations, the things that change the world for the better, one person at a time.

The hope for my1Mpact is not only to transform the lives of the hurting but bring joy to the giver through creating a cognitive awareness of other’s needs and motivating the ongoing life giving effect of the subsequent positive action. To inspire the realization that while you may not be able to change the world at this moment, you can change the entire universe of the one child or person in your path. Transform a life in a way that only you can, that is as unique as your fingerprint. Be the catalyst that starts the ripple effect of love that has no limits. Never underestimate the 1Mpact of 1, 1 person can change a Million lives. That person is YOU! GO ROCK THE PLANET!
